My policy is you never lose a gift certificate. If the receivers of your gifts decide not to use them, they can transfer them to anyone else. If the certificates are never redeemed, they simply revert back to you.

For all folks who purchase my regular packages (multiple hours purchased at one time at reduced rates), you may hand out gift certificates at will, and I deduct them from your package only when your giftees redeem them.
